7 day BBC TV and Radio listing XML now available

The official launch of backstage.bbc.co.uk is just over 4 weeks away. We will be making available plenty of new feeds and API’s available, but to whet your appetite we’ve just launched a new feed: 7 day BBC TV and radio listing information, in XML format.

The feed, which is updated daily, contains 7 days worth of schedule information for every BBC TV channel and radio station, and is offered in the TV-Anytime XML data format.

We know that a lot of people are keen to incorporate schedule information into their new and existing prototypes – so we can't wait to see what gets produced with it. Do let us know!

backstage.bbc.co.uk will be making the feed available for an initial period of three months, during which time we would ask you to class the feed as an "experimental service".

Don't forget, like all backstage.bbc.co.uk feeds the TV and Radio listings are provided strictly for non-commercial purposes, in accordance with the backstage.bbc.co.uk terms of use. If you’re not sure whether your intended use complies with this, please contact us first.

You can find out more by reading the associated feed documentation, or why not check out the feed directly?
